Fruit sourced from the Faust Vineyard in Coombsville, along with vineyard sites in Yountville and Oak Knoll create a hauntingly expressive wine. Violets erupt out of the glass, partnered with black plum and espresso. Firm tannins equate backbone with a stylish demeanor. Ultimately juicy and energetic, with notes of graphite, fennel, sandalwood and a distinct tension. Aged 20 months in (25% new) French oak.
