Established in 1980, Drylands was very near the tip of the spear when Marlborough Sauvignon pierced its way to global acclaim. This 2025 is intense but not overbearing or overly pungent, and refreshingly dry but neither too tart nor too austere. Citrus notes of lime and grapefruit are intertwined with a riper tropical note, and briny minerality lends excellent complexity in the finish.
Dense and rustic, with tobacco-laced cedar. Bold notes of cassis and tobacco, with blackberry liqueur sweetening the palate on the finish.
Toasted walnut, roast coffee bean, and crushed blackberry are remarkably concentrated, amplified by cherry liqueur and plum jam.
This sturdy red shows off flavors of blueberries soaked in coffee. Supple tannins support a touch of dark chocolate cedar.
A velvet mouthfeel and a sheath of black cherry ganache bathe the palate with a juicy rush of vanilla. A persistent finish of cinnamon red tea and black raspberry.
Spiced sandalwood engages with ripe boysenberry and a line of graphite. White peppered black cherry adds texture.
Crisp, nutty, and impassioned with lemon blossom and gem-like minerality.
