This wine is made from a blend of Aragonez, Moreto, and Trincadeira grapes. It has a bright ruby hue. Black fruits such as blackberries and plums, as well as eucalyptus are aromas that jump out of the glass. On the palate are flavors of prune, blueberry jam, white pepper, licorice, flint, and lavender. The tannins and acidity nicely balance out the fruit.

The nose on this traditional-method blend of 73% Chardonnay, 26% Pinot Noir, and 1% Meunier is a ray of sunshine, combining ripe pear and citrus (pomelo, lemon curd) with white peach and the slightest hint of tarragon. The curvaceous palate is likewise almost playful in its vibrancy, acidity dancing with similar flavors joined by some apple and yeasty notes. It’s almost too easy to drink.
