A tremendous Paso Robles Zin! Textbook appearance, deep core, some fade at the edge of the glass, red raspberry, savory spice, and captivating smoke aromas: weighty and full on the palate. Nicely balanced, expressive, pure with very good length on the finish. Immediately appealing but develops well with an hour of aeration.
Ripe and spicy, with clove-covered oak and bright cherry tobacco. Tannins are velvety, with a tingling of bramble and cinnamon surrounding the palate.
Grown on old vines (30-100 years) in iron-rich soils on steep slopes, this rapturous and voluptuous white still offers a fresh acidity.
