Pampa 2024 Estate Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina ($11)

Moderately deep red color, good purity with lifted aromas of dark plum and cherry. Expressive, medium body, with ample structure, and heaped with primary fruit notes. Accessible, exuberant and lively on the palate with a smooth finish. Very good value for the money.

Pampa Family 2021 Reserve Malbec, Lujan de Cuyo and Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina ($30)

Well-extracted, deep dense color red, and precise aromas. Black fruit, savory spice, roasted coffee notes, smoky oak, and black olive flavors. Ample volume on the palate, well balanced, with good presence on the front, mid and back palate with a silky smooth textural quality. Higher elevation vineyard site of Lujan de Cuyo and Uco Valley.

Panther Ridge 2021 Pinot Noir Reserve, Petaluma Gap, Sonoma County ($75)

Aged 16 months in 50% new French oak sur lie, the vineyard is farmed organically and is CCOF certified, with regenerative no-till philosophy. Rose petals melt across the palate and black raspberry and wild cherry ignite an earthy core. Perfumed with jasmine and exotic spiced scrub.

Panther Ridge 2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir, Petaluma Gap, Sonoma County ($30)

Regeneratively farmed on a rocky hillside, the stainless steel fermented rosé tastes of orange marmalade, honeyed apples, and a dapple of stony minerality. Graceful on the palate.

94

Pazo Cilleiro 2023 Albariño, Rias Baixas, Spain ($24)

Candied pineapple and a stony minerality take hold in the most pleasant way. Tart and taut, its steely nature allows fresh floral notes and a sea breeze to shine through.

97

Pine Ridge 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley ($140)

Energetic and earth-laden, with suede tannins that carry weight. The mouth is lathered with mulberry, sweet earth, spearmint, graphite, and cherrywood-cedar. Its broad shoulders are balanced on a balanced, fresh acidity, with a refined finish of violets and black plum compote.

Pine Ridge Vineyards 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley ($70)

In its youthful iteration, this energetic red ignites the senses with a mineral base and top notes of blackberry, plum skin, and espresso. With an upright structure, notes of violets and Hoisin sauce combine for a recipe of elegant complexity.

Portlandia 2021 Red Blend, Columbia Valley, WA ($22)

Suede tannins are laced with espresso, grilled beef, red pepper, and dark chocolate cherries. Well- structured but undeniably approachable. A dusty mid-palate adds an earthy tone, with violets and raspberry. A blend of 37% Cab Franc, 32% Syrah, 22% Malbec, and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in new and used French oak for 15 months.
