Contraluz Cristalino Mezcal ($60)

Describing itself as the first to bring the ultra-premium Cristalino process into mezcal, a small-batch fermentation and maturation process used to achieve smoothness and elegance, this is aged six months in charred American oak barrels then filtered through activated charcoal to extract color and enhance flavor. The spirit is indeed crystal clear and smooth, with floral and herbal aromatics and a light spiciness that builds intensity on the finish.

High Ground Vodka, Minden, Nevada   80 proof ($30)

Distilled from 100% rye, this small batch white spirit is crafted in a high-desert town that sits just under a mile high in elevation. Snowmelt from the Sierra Nevada range provides its pure water source.
Aromas of raspberries, vanilla, and white flowers float from the glass. The liquid settles on the tongue like a drifting cloud, gliding without weight. As it rises above the palate, it dissolves into droplets of anise, marshmallow, and pineapple with a white-peppered wake-up call.

IGNITE Tequila Anejo ($70)

At 80-proof, this full-bodied tequila is dark amber and richly pungent in sweet baking spice, maple and dark chocolate, subtle and luxurious on the palate with length and complexity for days.

95

IGNITE Tequila Blanco ($50)

Opening in a beautiful bouquet of sweet agave, this Blanco is mild and mellowed with a balance of sweetness that makes it compelling to sip or blend into cocktails. An underlying foundation of herbal elements like rosemary add to its complexity and intrigue.

IGNITE Tequila Reposado ($60)

Lightly colored, this aged 80-proof spirit has a sophisticated nose of spicy cardamon, cinnamon and vanilla that interplay against a lengthy midpalate of nutty dark chocolate and remarkable complexity and length.

92

IGNITE Vodka ($25)

Made from 100% corn to reach 80 proof, and distilled four times, this vodka is smooth, lengthy and sweetly flavored, with a nice interplay between power and refinement. It offers value, too, making it a worthy option to be enjoyed on its own or in a cocktail.

Loch Lomond Original Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 80 proof ($60)

An ocean breeze of salty air is accentuated on the nose and then on the palate. The brine wraps around notes of pecan, with a developing peaty party. The velvet-lined, approachable spirit exudes creamy toffee, with a mild sting of pepper. A wave of tangerine and a whisper of melon soothe. The finish is long and sinewy.

Loch Lomond Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 12 Years, 92 proof ($55)

With a woodsy-laden bouquet, this whisky speaks volumes from apple cobbler to pecans, to orange peel Creamsicle. Its reined in peaty-smoky character shows maturity, but also an elegant surface level. Peach and toffee get a charge of white pepper and a glossing of apple tart from mid-point to the multilayered finish.
