Valdo Numero 10 Prosecco DOCG Metodo Classico 2019 ($28)

Aromas of salted bread, Meyer lemon, lime, acacia flower, and pear laced with hints of honeydew and nut presage the polish this Prosecco goes to show on the palate, where sprightly acidity meets a silky quality amid notes of bright, crisp green apple and apple blossom along with tart peach and citrus—including the white grapefruit pith that meshes with bitter almond on the finish.

Valdo Prosecco, Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut ($20)

Here’s a classic Prosecco profile. Linen-clean scents of apple and pear are dappled with touches of tangerine, vanilla, and lime leaf; apple also pops on the blithe, lightly creamy palate, accented by tart apricot and almond.

Vultour 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley ($125)

Blanketed with dry, dusty tannins and a heady spice, this young wine possesses grip and hardly lets go. Black tea and purple plum are its foundation.

Wente Vineyards 2021 Pinot Noir, Riva Ranch Vineyard, Arroyo Seco, Monterey County ($35)

Its gem-like, vivid flavors and a starburst mouthfeel is what continues to place Riva Ranch Pinot Noir’s reputation in high gear. Wild cherry, red beets, and Italian herbs circle around the long finish, revealing its graceful balance.

Winemaker’s Selection 2022 Reserve Pinot Grigio, Delle Venezie, Italy ($10)

Lush notes of pear are blessed with honey and the crisp acidity accents the flavor of lemon blossom. Pretty and delicate.

Winemaker’s Selection 2022 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, NZ ($10)

Thistle, dill, and chervil season fresh peach and just-squeezed lime. Racy acidity and a salty persona maintain the wine’s vibrancy.

Zilzie 2023 Chardonnay, Victoria, Australia ($19)

Fresh and fruity, with mouth-watering summer peach and a lively acidity. This white has body from resting on the lees and aging in French oak.
