Mt. Beautiful 2018 Rosé, North Canterbury
Blending Pinot Gris (35%) with Pinot Noir lends a light echo of pear and delicate, fragrant aromas of rosemary-kissed raspberry. Slate adds depth to the sweetness of the red fruit as a hint of sage and salinity give the wine strength and texture. Lively and rich with a nice creaminess, the blend was co-fermented in stainless-steel tanks and French oak barrels. 92
