Blue Quail 2024 Pinot Gris, McFadden Farm, Potter Valley, CA ($18)

This is such a subtle, well-made Pinot Gris. Medium in body – and distinct on this ground from most Italian Pinot Grigios – it shows delicate flavors recalling pear and white melon with sufficient balancing acidity.
