Located at 11010 Estate Lane in Windsor, Notre Vue Estate has announced the springtime opening of its lakeside cabanas. Nestled alongside the nature preserve on the estate property, the cabanas look out over the onsite lake and the hillside vineyards of the Chalk Hill AVA. Available for reservations beginning on May 4, cabana rentals come with a complimentary bottle of wine and large charcuterie board.
A concert on May 4 from 12 to 4 p.m. will feature live jazz guitar from local musician Jay Messer and food catered by Sweet T’s. New wine releases to be poured include a 2024 Balverne Sauvignon Blanc, 2024 Balverne Rosé Pinot Noir, and 2024 Balverne Muscat. Tickets ($30 for club members and $50 for the public) include the first glass of wine; space is limited and advance reservations are required.
The winery’s concert series will continue through August, taking place every third Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.; tickets ($10 for club members and $20 for the public) must be purchased in advance and include the first glass of wine. Vickie Guillory & The Sugar Cats will perform May 16 (food will be available to purchase from Crêpes du Jour); the Adrian West Band will perform June 20 (food will be available to purchase from Dino’s Greek Food Truck); Vickie Guillory & The Sugar Cats return July 18 (food will be available to purchase from Dino’s Greek Food Truck); and the Second Street Band will perform at the last concert of the series August 15 (food will be available to purchase from The Spot Food Truck).
Notre Vue also offers another reservation-only tasting experience on The Terrace, which overlooks the Russian River Valley. “You’ll enjoy views of the vineyards and take advantage of the warm hospitality that makes Notre Vue so special,” said owner Renée Brown Stein. Five wines are poured at each tasting; alternatively, guests can order wines by the glass or enjoy bottle service. Boxed lunches from Costeaux French Bakery in Healdsburg can be ordered in advance; charcuterie boards are also available.
