You know you're going to be coming to Austin. Everyone else is. Whether you'll be dropping by for South By Southwest, Austin City Limits or the X Games, whether it's for the F1 Grand Prix race this month or any of a thousand more reasons, you know you're going to be coming to Austin.

When you drop in, don't forget the Whip In, downtown near I-35. It's a colorful space containing an Indian foods market and restaurant. There are lots of Texas beers on tap, but Whip In is also home to Namaste Brewing. I recommend the ESBitterama, which recently took Gold in the herb and spice category at the Great American Beer Festival. At 8.9 percent abv, this classic ESB has pronounced bergamot fragrance and it goes really well with just-baked naan swimming in ghee . It's one of my favorite ways to Keep Austin Weird.
