The SOMM Journal‘s VP of Education, Lars Leicht, interviewed Lamole di Lamole winemaker Andrea Daldin from his Campolungo vineyards in Chianti Classico. The webinar includes share-screen features of maps and videos focusing on the Chianti Classico terroir, the Lamole estate, and the 2020 harvest. When Chianti Classico winemaker Andrea Daldin left his Lamole di Lamole vineyards on August 6 for vacation, he foresaw a late and leisurely harvest. When he got back a few weeks later, he found that Mother Nature hit fast forwarded on the vines. Here’s his brief update from the vineyards on Friday, August 28, 2020.
