Imperia Vodka Supports “Love Ball” in Moscow
Imperia, the luxury vodka from Russia, provided significant support for Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova’s charity, the Naked Heart Foundation, at celebrity-filled fundraising event in Moscow held in a specially constructed ice palace in the park of the historic Tsaritsino Palace on St. Valentine’s Day.

Earth Day at Iron Horse Vineyards
Iron Horse Vineyards will be the setting for Celebrate Earth Day in Green Valley, Sunday April 20, 2008. The theme is Eat, Drink & Be Green.
Ticket prices are $50 general admission and $250 for an all-access pass, which includes a private reception at the Victorian home of Iron Horse founders Audrey & Barry Sterling. PG&E, Riedel, the Charmer Sunbelt Group and Glazer Whole Distributors are the first to sign on as sponsors for 2008.

Henriot Inc. Appoints New COO

Peter Ruggie has been appointed chief operating officer of Henriot Inc., reporting to Stanislas Henriot.
“After launching Henriot Inc. in the United States just three short years ago with three brands, we have very carefully grown our portfolio to a group of ten hand-selected wine producers,” said Henriot.  “At this crucial point in our development, we need at the helm someone with a great passion for wine who is extremely familiar with the market and the needs of our buyers: Peter Ruggie is that person.”


Pernod Ricard Appoints SR VP Sales

Jim Evans, a 17-year industry veteran, has been promoted to the national role of SeniorV.P., Sales of Pernod Ricard USA. Evans began his beverage alcohol career in 1990 at E&J Gallo as an on-premise field marketing manager. During his tenure with Gallo, Jim took a two-year leave of absence to lead an on-premise sales division at Chicago-based distributor Romano Bros. Beverage. He joined Pernod Ricard USA in 2003 where he most recently served as Sales VP, Central Division.
