Hotel California Tequila Launches Brand Campaign

Hotel California Tequila has announced the brand launch of its ultra-premium small-batch tequilas inspired by the Baja peninsula of Mexico. Created in close partnership with creative ideas agency Partners + Napier, the multi-touch campaign, dubbed “Stay Awhile,” introduces consumers to the house tequila of the legendary hotel while building distribution throughout the U.S.

The campaign kicked off with the launch of a new website at hotelcaliforniatequila.com, which features photography and video content from a 10-day expedition through Mexico. The trip included stops at the historic Hotel California in Todos Santos, the distillery, and the carefully cultivated agave fields in the Highlands of Jalisco. Parallax scrolling adds richness and depth to the site while allowing for seamless storytelling, capturing the Baja way of life through the making of Hotel California tequilas near Guadalajara, Mexico. The site also offers a full history of the brand, and a collection of Baja-inspired cocktail recipes.

Made with organic, 100% Weber Blue Agave, the award-winning Hotel California tequilas undergo a proprietary distillation process to remove all organic impurities. To achieve a perfectly complex flavor, Reposado and Añejo tequilas are aged for at least six and 28 months, respectively, in oak barrels formerly used to age bourbon. Each bottle is hand-casted and artisan-fired, and completed with hand-stamped and inked labels.
