Adding to its world-class international fine wine portfolio, Trialto Wine Group has announced a long-term agreement with Marnier-Lapostolle, Inc. to represent, in Eastern Canada, the renowned
Lapostolle wines from Chile, and Château de Sancerre from the Loire Valley.
"Our long-term investment and quality approach needs the right partner, I know that the Trialto team is well suited to develop Lapostolle and Château de Sancerre at its best in Eastern Canada," says Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle. "We introduced Lapostolle wines in Canada in 1997 and have had much success. Since that time, we've continued to invest in our vineyards and winemaking, focusing on organic and biodynamic practices. The result is wines of even greater depth, complexity and overall quality."
"We are very excited to reach this agreement with Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband, Cyril de Bournet, founders of Lapostolle," saysTrialto President and CEO Rick Toller. Trialto says meetings with Alexandra and her team made it clear that both companies shared the same values and convictions on how fine wine brands need to be developed in the Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada markets.
"This move will also gain focus for our diverse portfolio in Canada. We continue to have a strong partnership with Diageo for our Grand Marnier and Spirits portfolio" saysScott Green, Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing for Marnier-Lapostolle, Inc.
