Four Points by Sheraton LAX Expands Trademarked Best Brews Program

Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport, the original beer hotel, offers a 100-beer menu including an ever-changing tap list of craft and microbrews and six poolside taps dedicated to small, local breweries as part of its trademarked Best Brews program. Four Points by Sheraton LAX is taking its beer appreciation to the next level with new initiatives.

To encourage guests to try new brews and to help those looking to properly pair a flavorful beer with their meal, hops-loving General Manager Phil Baxter has appointed Justin Blake as Director of Brewer Relations. In his new role, the D.B.R. will use his extensive brew knowledge to engage in beer discussions and tastings, whether guests are beer novices or want to expand their pint palates with unique craft labels.
Blake is a perfect fit for the job as his love of beer grew in the burgeoning LA beer scene. As more craft brews became available, this self-proclaimed "beer-nerd" explored interesting flavors in lieu of traditional brands.

Four Points by Sheraton LAX is searching for three Californians to join its newly created Beer Advisory Board. The lucky brew board members will help to develop events and promotions and will have the opportunity to consult on the newest and best brews to be served at Four Points by Sheraton LAX.  To fill the board positions, Baxter and Blake are inviting all Golden State beer lovers to submit a short essay showcasing why they are the best candidate for the Beer Advisory Board at

Winners will serve for one year and receive complimentary travel, lodging, brew tastings and food for Beer Advisory Board meetings to be held quarterly at the hotel.  Applications are due June 30; winners will be announced July 15.*

Prior to sitting at the bar, guests can download the most up-to-date Brewster's tap list from the hotels Facebook page or get daily updates on Twitter. For more information about the Beer Advisory Board or to apply, visit
